Opuntia violacea var. macrocentra is a species of prickly pear cactus native to northern Mexico and the southwestern United States. Opuntia violacea var. macrocenta is a low growing species of opuntia reaching a maximum height of only 4 feet tall at maturity. They produce betacyanin, which is responsible for the distinctive purple pigment that sets this variety apart from other opuntia. The purple pigment is concentrated mostly around the edges of the pads and around the areoles, but the whole plant can turn purple during winter. Opuntia violacea var. macrocentra produce 1 to 4 long spines measuring anywhere from 1 to 5 inches long and have abundant glochids. The flowers  are a brilliant yellow with red interior measuring 2½ inches in diameter. The fruits are sweet, delicious, and commonly eaten like many other species of Opuntia. O. violacea var. macrocentra are hardy to USDA zone 8.

Opuntia violacea var. macrocentra have a hard waterproof seed coat that requires scarification for reliable germination. Use sandpaper or nail clippers to scratch through the seed coat. Plant the seeds ” deep in a well draining potting soil and keep moist but not soaking wet. Keep around 70°F to 80°F for best results. Seed germination can be sporadic, typically taking 10 to 180 days.

Beautiful but Straps don't stay up
Size: 7, Color: Pink
The shoe is gorgeous and it's a great concept. But the straps will keep coming down and gathering around your ankle. My daughter hated them.

Cutest shoes
Size: 8, Color: Burgundy
My daughter were these for prom and they were so cute and comfortable enough to wear all night. It’s great to be able to switch out the straps for different looks.

Perfect
Size: 9, Color: Black
These are my second pair of heels from Allegra K, I originally got the nude pair, and after wearing those all night I had to buy a black pair! I don’t use heels so these were comfortable enough to last me all night while still looking nice instead of using flats!

Stop looking! You found them!
Size: 11, Color: Black, Size: 11, Color: Black
Love love love these shoes. I am veryyy pregnant and heavy (as you can see in the pic). I used them for a wedding (all day long) and they were so comfortable (and I am not used to wearing heels). The size was perfect. I recommend them.

CHEAPLY MADE!
Size: 10, Color: Beige
These are very cheaply made, and they look like it. The ties don’t even have hymned/sown sides.
